Seri Selera Kampung Air is the place to dine and savour Sabah’s finest seafood. Formerly known as SEDCO Square or SEDCO Complex, the place has been a popular destination for both locals and tourists to enjoy fresh seafood and other local delicacies at affordable prices. With the increase in tourist arrivals in Sabah, SEDCO Square has become one of the most visited open air dining areas in the city.

In parallel with the state’s vision to make Kota Kinabalu into a world renowned tourist destination, City Hall decided to upgrade Sedco Square and turn it into a major dining spot. The idea is to improve the overall standard of hygiene in the eatery area with better surroundings and facilities, and provide a comfortable and conducive place for people to enjoy their food. The concept is to integrate the various restaurants into a seafood complex or a haven for seafood and other cuisine lovers.

So in 2006, SEDCO Square underwent major renovations and facility upgrades. SEDCO Square now has a new face and a new name, Seri Selera Kampung Air. With the new facelift, Seri Selera Kg. Air is now the largest seafood dining centre in Sabah. The place offers 6 seafood restaurants and 21 exotic Asian food-stalls serving a wide varieties of Chinese, Malay and other Asian flavours.

The centre is quite spacious and can easily accommodate 1,200 diners at any one time. You will dine in comfort as the management assures diners of cool evening breeze with its retractable roofing that can be closed on rainy day while dining with comfort under the starry sky on a clear night.

Having been around for over twenty years, Seri Selera is indeed a one-stop centre to dine. Located at the heart of Kota Kinabalu city and just a stone throw away from hotels, cinemas and shopping centers, Seri Selera Kampung Air opens daily from 3pm-2am.
